Democracy is a form of government that can be called the people’s government. In this form of governance, all decisions are made by public representatives, and the process of choosing these people’s representatives is called elections. People exercise their right to vote by voting in elections. And so, through their vote, the people determine what kind of government, administrative, judicial, economic, and social system they want. A form of a democratic system of government is a representative government in which the people elect their representatives and entrust the system of government to them. It is as if the vote given by the people plans the future of the nation. It affects the policies of this province, city, and country. It is their vote that builds the foundation of their children’s future. Voting is both your right and your duty.
This is a trust that you must return in the form of your opinion.
Democracy is a good system of government but under it, some unusual responsibilities are imposed on the people. The most basic thing for the development of democracy is that the people are enlightened, educated, and conscious. They should always be aware and not allow their basic human rights to be violated at any cost.
Therefore, we remind you again and again that you must exercise your right to vote for any party whose views and policies you agree with and exercise your right to vote.
There is a system of advance voting for those who are busy on election day. This time, advance polling will be held on October 10 to 13 and October 15 and 16, and those who do not get time on election day should take advantage of these five days and use their vote themselves and get their friends and family to pass the vote on to the right people.
Alhamdulillah, in this provincial election in British Columbia, about nine or ten Muslim candidates are participating from different political parties and this is a welcome thing. And we all hope they do well in their respective circles
They must be working hard. Must introduce themselves to the people of their constituencies. Many people from the Muslim community are voluntarily working for various parties in their offices and should be doing their work. Their work should also be appreciated.
We should not only actively participate in politics but also realize the importance of our vote bank to highlight our importance. Candidates running for elections should start working not two to four months but four years in advance to strengthen their vote by reaching out to all communities.

Now let’s go to the two strong political parties of the provincial elections. One of which is the current ruling party, BCNDP, whose leader is David Eby. Another popular party in the last few years is the BC Conservatives, led by John Rustad.
BC residents have many issues, including an increase in crime rate and public safety, affordable housing, education, environmental concerns, health care, Indigenous relations, carbon taxes, inflation, unemployment, and emergency wait times at hospitals of at least six to eight hours. And long waits of patients for specialists.
What is sorely lacking in infrastructure here is Surrey, B.C.’s rapidly growing population. The problems are increasing rapidly but the facilities are not getting the way they deserve David Abbey of BCNDP has been making different announcements just before the elections.
Both the BC NDP and the Conservative parties are facing tough competition. John NDP leader David Eby’s policies are being criticized by the Conservative party leader, John Rustad. They are particularly at odds over the carbon tax.
John Rustad has expressed his determination that he is ready to solve the problems of BC. Now let’s see who among these two leaders gets elected and whether they will achieve any achievements other than empty political slogans. In solving the problems here or so, this province will continue on its way.
Apart from these two big parties, another party Green Party is also very famous here, whose leader is Sonia Furstenau. Her focus is more on the environment, and she wants to see BC green. They are explaining the purpose of their party regarding climate issues. Another party that has been formed recently is the Freedom Party. This is the party of Amrit Birring whose main slogan is Stop SOGI in Schools. And they are fielding some of their candidates with this slogan, which is a welcome thing for the children of the future. Now let’s see how BC voters support these party leaders, and the candidates selected by these party leaders. And who agrees on which party policies?
Because the party selected from the manifesto of the two major parties decides the future of the people.
However, for the Muslim community, the neglected policies of these parties in Gaza, Lebanon, Syria, and Yemen will also have to be considered. Apart from that, what is their view on what Israel and other powers doing in other Muslim countries?
Let’s see what happens, 15 days left. I hope that you all will inquire and find out the party policy. It is very important to know what their policy on local issues is, especially health policy, lack of doctors and medical facilities, increasing population and increased crime rate, lack of schools, etc., and how they will solve it.
These are policies that are milestones for our children and future generations
The upcoming elections are very important for all of us.
We must do our duty by using our votes properly.
Is it true?
What do you think?
Just think about it!
