The Mystery of Eid !

While moon sighting for Eid has been a debated issue in BC for as long as I can remember, it reached a new level of complication this year.
On August 12, BCMA made the official announcement that Eid would be on Wednesday Aug 22.
The BCMA had given a clear explanation for not following the Saudi declaration for Eid on August 21: “The BC Muslim Association was unable to follow through with the Saudi declaration, based on our policy, as that would have resulted in 28 days for us. Whereas, the Prophet (peace be upon him) has stated a lunar month can only be 29 days or 30.”
Four days later, while scrolling facebook in the evening, I came across another announcement:
In light of new evidence brought to the attention of the Board of Religious Affairs, the Board has revised its verdict regarding the month of Dhu al Hijjah 1439. The month of Dhu al Hijjah commenced on Sunday, August 12, 2018.”
This left me along with hundreds of others (evident from Facebook comments) perplexed.
What was the new evidence?
Why did it take four days to evaluate it?
Why is the board not giving a proper explanation?
Where is the apology for
misleading thousands who follow BCMA?
These questions were raised to the BCMA on their facebook page.
I sent a message directly to the
association which was read but not replied.
Regardless of the embarrassment and inconvenience that it caused to many who had to switch days off at work without explanation or were not able to take the day off on Eid at all, I understand mistakes happen. However, leaders should own up to the mistakes and not avoid accountability. I request the BCMA to present the new evidence to its members in order to regain our trust.

‘Facts of true Human Rights Activists proven by their actions of honest effort of most difficult task.
‘High standard life’ is proven by standing up for the truth and to fight in the ‘way of GOD’-(Q. 2:190)-non violence for Justice and for HIS creation.
It is undeniable fact that the world is full of corruption, conspiracy, Religious and Medical mal practices, an atheist anti-GOD cheating using the fake ID of spiritual leader, using false titles of progressive, pluralist, and comparative study of Islam in order to eliminate original Islam, polluting the human souls and earth, but worst pollution of ‘Sacred Water’ is by throwing garbage, plastic, Oil spill in the Rivers endangering the lives of humans, Animals and Birds..
Therefore, it is utmost essential to recognize the true H. R. Activist and environmentalist and not fall for the fake ID holders. Who are evil possessed and has tendency to lie, cheat, deceive, and use the fake ID to gain wealth and fame.
On the other hand (followers of Creator-GOD) possess intellect and Angelic spiritual gift to recognize all kinds of evil frauds that is ruining the life, mind and souls.
It is a shame that an honest real Human Rights Activist and Environmentalist Green Party Leader Elizabeth May, M.P. Kennedy Stewart and many others including Senior Women arrested at a protest against Kinder Morgan’s Trans Mountain pipeline expansion.
Spoken words of wisdom by one of the 5 Senior Citizen Women after their release Said: “People have to stand up when they see an injustice”. (Ref: Stat Metro Van.).
Elizabeth has been charged with civil contempt for blocking the road, which is not a criminal offence, yet she very graciously accepted the charges and surrendered peacefully proving a truthful honored lady. Her many awards speaks a thousand words of her true ID, named as one of the world’s leading women environmentalists by the U.N.
Moreover, portraying her best character and good conduct she declared: “she respects the courts and does not take the injunction lightly but believes the pipeline project will cause irreparable harm to the environment and Indigenous rights”.
Obviously, who can deny such facts?As an honest Human Rights Activist she endorses recommendations to end human rights violations of Palestinian Children.
Therefore, we need to support and speak up for environmentalists and request our P. M. to order the Court to let go her and others without any charges and penalties.
Or do we need Kim Kardashian to influence and convince him like she did to U.S. President to give clemency and freed 63 yrs old woman from prison?

On behalf of the President, Directors and Volunteers of Human Care BC Society, I would like to acknowledge and thank you all for the generous support you rendered towards Zakaat Fund & Donations during Holy month of Ramadhan and QURBANI for Eidul-Adha.
These are our achievements:
1.With your help, we did Qurbani of 126 animals in 45 villages of Rajasthan, Hariana, Behar, Mewat and Merut
2.Zakaah and Lillah Funds were distributed in poor areas in Rajasthan and Fiji.
3.Twenty two boxes of Library BOOKS reached Fiji for the flood damaged schools
4.So far there are 41 Water wells done in Rajasthan and for 2018, we have funds
for 3 more wells.
5.here are three Masajid being built in Mewat, India by our generous brothers here.
6.FIJI FLOOD RELIEF FUND DRIVE successfully generated $15,000.00 and has been sent via reliable means.
Our on-going projects are:
*A Fund Raising FOOD DRIVE.
*A detailed Pictorial activities of our Society will be published soon.
*We are having a BLANKET DRIVE for the homeless in Surrey, BC.
*The Water-Well, Sadaqa, Aqeeqa and other Good-will projects are handled.
Lastly and most importantly,
